Work Plans:

This summer I plan to add useful details to SCEC-VDO hoping to make the program more universal in capabilities instead of as focused on Southern California. In order to accomplish this goal, I plan to add useful cultural and geological information worldwide beginning with parts of the world that frequently experience earthquakes. Specific examples of this include cities, political boundaries and major highways. I also will attempt to conquer the Grand Challenge by working with the rest of the group through collaboration and idea sharing. I'm specifically interested in displaying the community fault block models. While adding additional functionality, my ultimate goal is to enhance the usability of my specific projects so that it is ready for use among scientific and public communities throughout earthquake prone areas.
