SCEC 3D Velocity Workshop

Announcement

The third 3D seismic velocity model workshop
will be held at Caltech on
Sept 10, 1999, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please email Rob Clayton
(clay@gps.caltech.edu) if you plan to attend and have not already
let him
know.
The purpose is to determine specifically
what new elements and modifications
will go into Version 2 of the new velocity model. Participants
are urged to
bring actual input parameters and data if they wish to contribute
to the model.
Based on the information presented, we will attempt to get a working
version of the model specified for the Annual meeting.
Location
--------
The meeting will be held in the Salvatori
Room of the Seismo Lab (South
Mudd Bldg) at Caltech. Maps for getting to Caltech and the room

Park in any spot in alot off of Wilson or California that doesn't
have a
