Jim Zumberge

Physicist

 

Jim Zumberge's main research interest lies in efficient algorithms for automated analysis of GPS data. He has been a member of the technical staff at JPL since 1990. His current projects include automated analysis of GPS data from the SCIGN and global networks, high-rate estimates of GPS clocks and their applications, and the International GPS Service.

He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1981 after receiving his B.S. in Physics from the University of Michigan in 1974. He is a member of the American Geophysical Union and Phi Beta Kappa. For recreation, Jim enjoys travelling and music.
